Every SLA part we ship is printed on the Formlabs Form 4L, washed on the Form Wash L and post-cured on the Form Cure L — print, wash, cure and finish all in-house. Wash time, cure and hand finishing are what take a part from as-printed to show-ready, and we control all three under one roof rather than sending work out.
We run the Form 4L in open mode, so we are not restricted to a single supplier’s resin range and can choose the right resin for your part rather than the one the machine came with. Build envelope is 353 × 196 × 350 mm.
Stereolithography (SLA) is a resin 3D printing (resin printing) process that laser-cures liquid photopolymer layer by micro-layer. Because the layers are so fine, SLA gives the smoothest surface and finest detail of any 3D printing process — isotropic, true to CAD, with no layer lines to sand and no fibre texture. That makes SLA the high-resolution route for rapid prototyping and for parts where surface and detail decide whether a part works: a master for casting, a crisp housing, a clear lens, a pattern that has to read perfectly — at large-format size.
